Family Portraits

On a recent trip to Norfolk for my mum's birthday, I decided to take the camera out when we went for a walk along the beach. As you can see, my natural style is more documentary/lifestyle because I love the natural shots you can get from doing this and I know not everyone likes to have a camera thrust in their face! So if you are a bit camera shy but would love some gorgeous family portraits, please get in touch!

Sarah & Dave's Recent-ish Wedding!

I had the pleasure of being invited to two of my friend's wedding at the end of August. I couldn't make the day ceremony due to the day job but I was able to go to the lovely evening reception. And lovely it really was! I was just gutted I didn't get to make the whole day as the photos I have seen since are awesome and look like so much fun! Different to your 'average' wedding which is always refreshing in!

So, although there was no official photographer on the day, I took a few in the evening and here they are. Thank you Sarah and Dave for letting me part of your wonderful day!

Millie's 1st Birthday

Decided to practise my portraits, kinda, by capturing my gorgeous niece's first birthday party. I'm definitely more of a 'documentary' photographer in that sense but I'm getting used to asking people to pose for me! Baby steps all the way, for me and for Millie!

Millie enjoyed being pushed in her pram rather than pushing it herself! 

A select few out of the very many I took but I was able to put some of my newly learnt photography skills to the test. Like the 'Sunny F/16 Rule', which I'll cover in a post in a few weeks time (when there has been some more sun again!).

The Wedding of Michelle and Scott Myford

On 1st September 2012 I had the honour of being bridesmaid for one of my best friends. The weather was lovely, despite the recent grimness we'd had and the day was truly lovely, just like the couple tying the knot! Michelle is Disney crazy so there was a loose theme to the day and it certainly was sprinkled with a little magic. I, of course, took my SLR along and befriended the photographers taking the official photos, thus ensuring I got the best spots alongside them!
