Family Portraits

On a recent trip to Norfolk for my mum's birthday, I decided to take the camera out when we went for a walk along the beach. As you can see, my natural style is more documentary/lifestyle because I love the natural shots you can get from doing this and I know not everyone likes to have a camera thrust in their face! So if you are a bit camera shy but would love some gorgeous family portraits, please get in touch!

Come on Daddy, this way!
And here are a few others of my gorgeous neice, for good measure!

Flowers and nature from further afield..

So here it is, last post on Cuba but by no means least! And hopefully spring will start to appear outside and we might get to see that big round thing shining in the sky. I hope so otherwise I will be all over #throwbackthursday with blogposts of sunnier places!

Have a few more of these flowers but that's for another blog post in a few weeks time! Pretty flower though huh?

I hope you've enjoyed looking at my Cuba photos as much as I enjoyed taking them and being out there!

Don't forget that all my images are available to buy in a variety of formats. Please get in contact for details or check the price tab at the top of the page. :)

Cuban Cars

The cars in Cuba were a beauty to behold. Old fashioned cars are in abundance, though newer ones can be found, the majority are from the 1950s before the trade embargos imposed on Cuba. I even saw a few 1920s cars as well! And you have to have a ride in one, it's sort of magical! Here's a few examples for you!

Cuba - Esta es la vida

Whilst moving around Havana and exploring the city, I loved capturing the locals going about their daily lives. Here are a few images I took of them!

Ah, loved it so much here! It was like being in a time warp!

I love the series of 3 photos of the man catching fish for the day. You just don;t get that sort of thing in England! Well, at least if you do, it sort of happens much earlier in the day and isn't nearly as picturesque as this huh?! I think I might actually make this in to a triptych to really do them photos some justice. What do you think?

I'm still here!

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to pop a wee post on here to say hello and let you know I haven't vanished off the face of the earth! It's been an absolutely manic few months personally and as such although I have lots of photos to share, time is pressing and I haven't had chance to put a post up.

That said, here's a little taster from Cuba, just to keep you going! Over 800 photos to go through )about a quarter of the way through!!!!) so you will have to bear with me in the build up to Xmas too but I will be back with posts galore before you know it!

Stay tuned for my post on my favourite images I've taken this year and what's to come next year. Until then, I hope you all have a really special Christmas with loved ones and friends, an amazing New Year and a happy and healthy 2014!

Summertime in Brighton!

Yes you do detect a hint of sarcasm!! ;) It was my birthday in June and my lovely other half took me to Brighton for the day. I haven't been there for years so really looked forward to it, shame the weather was a bit grey. Who'd have thought it in June?! Here are a few of the images I took...

I really like the composition of this photo. I'm pretty sure there wasn't a child who'd been left alone on the beach on a pretty cold and wet day but I like the kind of solitude of it.

Random shabby looking bird that I found endearing.

Honestly can you believe this was taken on 12th June?! It could have been November looking at this photo! Love how the building disappears into a clouds.

Hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed my day there. Must go back soon when it's a bit sunnier mind....!
