Sofia's Christening part 2

Two posts in three days, check me out! This is the second set of images from Sofia's Christening (title gives it away a bit!) and are from the little soiree afterwards. I must remember to lay off the Bolly....

 

Sofia's Christening 30/09/12

I was asked to take photos at a friends daughters Christening a few weeks ago. I wanted the photos to look natural and, where possible, not staged. Sometimes people freeze when they see you holding a big camera so I tried to blend in to the background, which isn't something I'm used to!

I'm putting them up in two different blog posts. The reason being; I read somewhere that you shouldn't have more than 10 photos in one post because people might get bored! Whilst I'm sure that isn't the case (!), I'm not going to chance it. And in any case, it worked quite well for this set of photos because I have chosen to show you the ones from the service today and the tomorrow I will post a few from the little party after.

                   

Pet Portraits: Guiness!

This is my friends lubbly jubbly cat Guiness. Isn't he a cutie?! I keep nagging my boyfriend for a cat - he's not so keen on the idea 'in this flat' at least he keeps telling me. So I'm having to take photos of the lovely creatures to get my cat fix! I'm not sure how much Guiness enjoyed his photo shoot, he tried his best to get away at every opportunity (!) but I'm persistent so I managed to get a few. Hope you like them.
